What we collect
When you create an account we store your name and email address. When you create or contribute to a tribute page we store the content you add — names, dates, messages and photos — so the page can be shared with the people you choose.
Tribute pages are private: they are not listed anywhere and can only be opened by someone who has the link or QR code.
Advertising measurement (Meta pixel)
We use the Meta pixel, provided by Meta Platforms, to measure how visitors arrive at and use our website. This helps us understand whether our Facebook and Instagram advertising reaches the right people and lets Meta show our ads to people more likely to find them relevant (measurement and ad optimisation).
The pixel records that a visit took place and basic technical information such as your browser and approximate region. It does not give us access to your Facebook profile, and it is never loaded on private tribute pages' content beyond a simple page-view count.
Google Analytics. We also use Google Analytics, provided by Google, to count visits and see which pages are read and where visitors come from. It follows the same consent choice as the Meta pixel below.
Your choice. If you visit from a region that requires consent (such as the EU, UK or Switzerland), the pixel only activates after you press Accept on the cookie banner. Press Decline and it stays off. Elsewhere it runs as part of the normal operation of the site.
Changing your mind. You can withdraw or grant consent at any time: open Cookie settings in the footer of any page and choose again. Your new choice applies immediately.
What we never do
We do not sell your information, we do not share tribute page content with advertisers, and we do not send marketing emails you did not ask for.
